fourth entry.

i'm free to write anything i want right. so, i want to write about anything that will be crossing my mind in the next, let say, 20 minutes? okkay. here we go. i love cars. i know all about cars. i used to collect car magazines since i was 8 years old. but eventually i stopped when i entered mrsm back in 2007. my dream car would be bmw 7 series. i like big, bulky luxury cars. this topic is lame. lets move on. another thing thai i like is girls, like any other straight guys. especially the hot ones. and how would i define 'hot'. well, for me, she must have the brains, sparkling personality, a cute face and most importantly a curvacious body.

moving on to the next topic. which is what im doing right now. i am typing down stuff for my blog post on my laptop while laying down on my bed and while texting my gf. im wearing a grey uniqlo tshirt, an orange also uniqlo shorts and a white calvin klien boxer. my bed is covered with a black bedsheet and i have to pillows on my bed and also a piece of comforter. kesha's take it off is playing on the windows media player.

okkay. 20 minutes up. i dont really like writing actually. i dont know what to write. im sorry. bye. see you on the next post.

the other boleyn girl.

okkay. im soooo gay. u must be a faggot to watch this kind of movie. unless u go watch it with your girlfriend of wife or mistress. i didnt really watched this movie in class because i didnt attend the english class that day. but i have watched the other boleyn girl on hbo at home and i fell asleep after 15 minutes. nevertheless, this is what i think of the movie, or in other word, the synopsis of the movie.

A sumptuous and sensual tale of intrigue, romance and betrayal set against the backdrop of a defining moment in European history: two beautiful sisters, Anne and Mary Boleyn, driven by their family's blind ambition, compete for the love of the handsome and passionate King Henry VIII.

King Henry VIII of England and his wife Katherine of Aragon are having marital problems over the inability to sire a male heir. Henry summons the Boleyn family - parents Sir Thomas and Lady Elizabeth, and their three children George, Anne and Mary, who are all approaching adulthood - to his court. The Boleyn's original plan is to have Anne, the headstrong and outspoken one of the daughters, be Henry's mistress. After initial misgivings, Anne pursues this liaison as a means for her eventually to marry into royalty on Henry's approval. However, Henry instead has his eyes on the more innocent Mary, despite she already being married to the equally innocent William Carey. Sir Thomas and the Duke of Norfolk, Lady Elizabeth's brother, do whatever they can to secure a position of privilege in the royal court by having the Boleyn children do whatever pleases the King, much to the dismay of Lady Elizabeth, who herself was born into nobility but gave it up to marry Sir Thomas for love. Sir Thomas and the Duke's ultimate goal is for a Boleyn girl to produce a son with the King. Anne and Mary, based on their own personalities, take different paths, which sometimes places them at odds with Henry, with the people of England, with their family, and with each other.

okkay. thats it for now. bye. haha. jgn mawrah.

2nd entry. the truth behind my jetlag excuse.

Forgive me for my ignorance. Everybody else turns up in jubah or baju melayu. But me, hah. My brother told me up that i was dressed up to go to club rather than going to mecca

Dear mdm maryam, yes, you. Im sorry i submitted this assignment later than the deadline. I was not lying about me having a jetlag. Really. This is my story. I went to Saudi last raya holidays. So u ask me (actually all of us) to write anything and send it to you. Well, i don’t like to share my life stories unlike some people but here it goes. This is the second time we are going. We left for Jeddah on the 7th. It was an afternoon flight. 8 hours. I was there at the airport early. 24 hours early. My family came from Kelantan on the morning flight. I waited for them to come. I slept at the airport. Yes.

Oh. I love Malaysia.

So, i’ll just skip the boring part which involves a beautiful stewardess, inflight entertainment and crappy airplane food. We arrived in Jeddah around 11pm local time. We went straight for madinah because we could not stay in mecca as it was still ramadhan and mecca is flooded with people. Too many that we did not manage to get ourselves a hotel room. Madinah was beautiful. The first time i saw masjid nabawi, i was speechless. It was extraordinary, not the thing u see everyday. I’m not that good at describing stuff either. So bear with me here.

Just look at it. Its a magnificent edifice. Beats the klcc anytime.

One thing that i learn about arab people that they can actually eat anywhere they want. Like seriously. They can just sit in circle in the middle of the traffic and eat dinner. Arab food was okay. I love the chicken sherwama. Simple, cheap and tasty.

See. Told yah. I wonder if this is possible in Malaysia.

My daily routine changed drastically while i was there. I spend most of my time going to the mosque. Reciting the quran, solat sunat and fardhu. Back at the hotel room, I will sleep. We all do. The temperature was hot. Around 44 degrees during the day and around 36 degrees at night.

I’ve never seen this much people for buka puasa my whole life. The Saudi government and many other independent organizations sponsor food. Kfc, nasi beriani. Just name it. It’s there.

We celebrated hari raya in madinah. For the very time in my life, i stayed at the mosque from subuh until the raya prayers =) it was well, A bedlam actually. People waited for the prayers on the sidewalk and even on the streets. I manage to secure a place inside the mosque compound(lucky me). In Saudi Arabia, everyone sleeps after subuh. They stayed up all night. The mall and shops closes around subuh. So, there’s pretty much no hari raya nuance there. I had bee hoon goreng for hari raya breakfast. Blergh.

Yea yea. Duit raya time.

The next day, we went to mecca. The journey took about 5 to 6 hours. I spend most of the time sleeping as we were all in our ihram. Mecca is one big city. The masjidil haram is the center of mecca. There’s construction all over the place. In front of the main gate of the mosque, stands the all new(still under construction) zam zam tower, the newest addition to mecca’s landmarks.  6 of its lower floor is a high class mall and on top, the for towers are luxury 5 stars hotels.

If you pray, let say zohor at home. You will get one reward. And if you pray at the mosque, jemaah, you will get 27. And me, praying at masjidil haram, i will get 2.7 million rewards.

And there’s the zam zam tower.

We stayed in mecca for a week.  I didn’t do much sightseeing. i spend most of my time at the mosque. I shall end this post with more pictures. Bye.

Oh yes, there were camels.

1st entry. duh

yes. i have to. god i hate writing. this is especially for you mdm maryam. here it goes. so she told me to write something 'reflective'. and im gonna give the first insight of the law programme here in ukm, in my perspective that is. honestly, i was not very happy that i got ukm to further my studies. yet, i was thankful and i still am indeed. the law faculty is quite small compared to my previous university. in on top of a hill, far away from civilization. even phone signals arent that strong there.

but then, the class started. and i met the lecturers. there are all very professional and rather experienced. that place seems to be better than what i had expected before. although the name of the subjects are all in bahasa. but they are all taught mainly in english. there's even this one lecturer (i wont mention her name here unless i want my chest to get stabbed) who speaks with a thick uk accent.

and its time to evaluate. i dont really know how this works. so im just gonna evaluate myself and errr, my thought. getting in here change the way i see things. sorta. um, its doesnt really matter where you are studying. what matter is you. how much effort do you put in getting what you want. and how badly that you want that piece of certificate. no matter where u study, if you dont have interest in what you are pursuing, then. boom. there goes your future of having a big house and being filthy rich.

my plan is to keep doing this. the field of law has always been my passion. im not going to blow this chance away. im gonna work my way through and achieve my dream to be successful in life. by being a lawyer. a helluva good one.
